Fish Stocking Permit may be required!

WARNING:  Private Ponds and/or Lakes that have waters flowing in or out, that is locally considered to be public waters either by fishing or boating - you will need a fish planting permit from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.  Anyone planting fish to Michigan's Public Waters - will also need this same permit.

Public Waters: If you are planting any sports fish into Michigan’s public waters, you must first obtain an Application to Stock Fish into Michigan Public Waters from your local DNR Field Office or visit the web:
